Our construction school class spent the week designing and building Adirondack chairs to sell for Father’s Day. Proceeds will benefit Team TCAT Nashville’s squad of cabinetmakers, aestheticians and other students competing at SkillsUSA National Championships in Louisville, Kentucky, next week.
Adirondack chairs, tables and planters, handmade with pressure-treated pine, are for sale today at TCAT Nashville, 100 White Bridge Rd., next to Target. They’re on a trailer on the grassy strip in front of school — you can’t miss them.
Chairs $90, rockers $125, tables $50, planters $75.
For details or to purchase, call 615-587-1653.
Meanwhile, BuildMeUpButtercup will be reporting live from SkillsUSA Nationals in Louisville, while wearing a jaunty, if unseasonably warm, regulation red blazer of the organization, so stay tuned next week.
I would like one of the rockers never mind that it would seriously encroach on our deck space and that I live 887.0 miles away (thank you, Google).
